ZOLL's Full-Rescue AEDs feature CPR-D-padz®
a one-piece, pre-connected electrode with Real CPR Help® feedback.
Ordinary AEDs require that the rescuer use two separate electrodes. By using CPR hand placement as the landmark, it is easy to place the CPR-D-padz on the victim quickly. The CPR-D-padz also lasts five years-the longest shelf life of any defibrillator electrode sold today
Real CPR Help
Inadequate compression rate and depth are common during CPR. Adult victims need at least 100 compressions per minute and at a depth of at least 2 inches (5 cm). Compressions must be done well to effectively move blood and oxygen.
The ZOLL AED Plus® converts compression data instantaneously from the CPR-D-padz and provides an adaptive metronome to help the rescuer with the proper rate and depth, saying "Push harder" or "Good compressions," as needed. It also shows CPR compression depth on the display screen. ZOLL's AED Plus is the only AED that helps the rescuer achieve the correct rate and depth of chest compressions during CPR. No other AED has both these capabilities.
Everything You Need for the Rescue
The CPR-D-padz comes complete with a CPR barrier mask, scissors, disposable gloves, a prep razor, a towel, and a moist towelette.
ZOLL's Pedi-padz II®
The Only Full-Rescue AED with Intelligent Pediatric Capability

The ZOLL AED Plus® Intelligent Pediatric Capability includes voice and text prompts that tell rescuers that Pedi-padz® II are connected, ensuring that the proper defibrillator electrodes are being used. When a cardiac arrest occurs, the fact is that only half of the victims will need a shock. The other half requires cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Separate and specific algorithms for adults and children are used to analyze a victim's heart rhythm. The ZOLL AED Plus can defibrillate children up to eight years of age, using the Pedi-padz II electrodes. Separate energy levels also have been incorporated for pediatric patients. Electronics in the AED Plus adjust defibrillating energy levels automatically so that suitable doses are delivered accurately, when needed. With ECG analysis designed specifically for a pediatric heart rate, coupled with appropriate defibrillation energy levels, the AED Plus can handle both adult and pediatric rescues.
Pedi-padz II electrodes are designed especially for use with the AED Plus, and are also compatible with professional defibrillators, allowing continuity of care. The AED Plus does not rely on a resistor or other hardware in the wires to reduce delivered energy. Anatomical diagrams on the package facilitate proper pad placement.
Duracell 123A Lithium Battery
The Zoll AED Plus takes Duracell Type 123 Lithium Batteries which are packaged in a set of ten (10) batteries. The Duracell batteries have a five (5) year expiration date while the device is in stand-by mode and a shelf life of ten (10) years. The AED Plus uses redundant circuitry, so if one set of five (5) batteries fails, the other five (5) are there for backup.
Zoll R Series BLS
The Zoll R Series BLS Defibrillator includes Guidelines 2005-compatible AED with Real CPR Help, manual override, OneStep system, code-readiness testing system, rectilinear biphasic technology, compact flash card slot, 3 lead CG cable with AHA markings, built-in port, integrated AC Power, (120 VAC/ 60 Hz) and optional parameters.
Warranty: 5 Year Hospital Warranty.
The R Series BLS shows first time responders a simple, one-button AED interface. When the Code Team arrives, a member can simply press a button to turn the BLS device into a full-function manual defibrillator. If pressed, SpO2 becomes functional, and if installed, the pacing function is revealed. This entry _level model allows hospitals with tight budgets to deploy R Series technology. R Series BLS is particularly good for low-acuity area, where advanced capabilities are rarely needed.
R Series is the first device to provide a pediatric electrode with a built-in CPR sensor to help when performing CPR on a child. Because children are not small adults, all the R Series defibrillators feature a pediatric analysis algorithm that is activated when OneStep Pediatric CPR Electrodes are attached.
Features:
CPR Help® special technology – OneStep™, CPR Stat-padz®,and CPR-D-padz® electrodes with real-time CPR feedback.
Consistent – The R Series defibrillators each use the same uniform operating system, cables, paddles, batteries, internal handles, and electrodes common to all ZOLL manual defibrillators
Adaptable – Mix and match different R-Series products by clicking a button;
Rectilinear Biphasic™ waveform (RBW) technology with superb biphasic waveform;
Audio and Video signalling;
CPR Dashboard™ – Detailed real-time display of CPR quality metrics that uses Real CPR Help® technology;
See-Thru CPR® – Minimizes pause time during CPR and increases CPR fraction by filtering out CPR artifact;
High-current defibrillation – Delivers optimal treatment for all of your patients;
R Series Plus and R Series ALS – Configurations to address the needs of all providers;
Additional tools include Smart Tools for Training and Comprehensive Readiness Checks;
The single-use sensor also reduces the possibility of transmitting infection from bodily fluids;
